The prize for the Science and Technology category, awarded by the 3M Foundation, went to the MOISTRAP project.
Whiteboard animation video and logo for Business Plan
On the occasion of the 14th CIADE prize for the university entrepreneur, I was part of the MOISTRAP project, led by a group of scientists from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). The project was for the creation and development of a new technology company specialized in the design of irreversible labels indicative of excess moisture in goods in transit, created and patented by this group of scientists.
I participated in this project to create the company logo, which would appear on each page of the dossier that the group presented for the award and then to create a video that would allow us to explain the business idea. This video was a requirement that we had to bring along with the dossier on the Business Plan.
For this, we used a technique that is quite fashionable, that is to tell a story, in this case that of MOISTRAP, using graphics that simulated a hand drawing, as a kind of “storytelling video”. Previously, we had created a script that allowed us to tell the story in a brief and concise way and without giving many technical details, in order to reach the desired audience.
The MOISTRAP project, in which I participated in the design and communication part, was presented with The Award for Science and Technology by the 3M Foundation.
